Sadie Olive with a side of creepy

I {Carolynn} seem to have a little Etsy crush on Sadie Olive at the moment and her large collection of vintage French alarm clocks. You might be thinking "Carolynn, how can you love French clocks? They smell funny and cower in the face of danger." Not only would you be inappropriate Mr. Invisible Cyber Reader, but you would also be wrong. You're thinking of the English.
I want to buy every one of these clocks, display them on the ledge above my bed and set them all on different times. You didn't even know I was crazy like that, did you? Nope.

I'm also seriously debating buying these vintage rolling pins and using them to bake the crap out of these pies.

These last images I included in this post because I thought they were frakin creepy in the funniest way.

a hand? really? ok.

hot damn, that is creepy.

i don't even understand this one.

Please do not misconstrue my biting humor and witty repartee. I love this store in all of it's creep-tastic glory and I highly recommend you check it out. Especially if you're in the market for a crucifix or ceramic Jesus... because who isn't?

I'd Rather...

I know. I know. I complain when it's dull and cold and rainy. I say I'd rather be riding a vespa in the countryside or sitting on a hammock in the sun, but here I am in the midst of a cold grey morning with an 80% chance of rain in my future and the only thing I'd change about it is illustrated below...

a good day for a parade

Friends, food, a marvelous view of the parade and the perfect Thanksgiving outfit. It was a good day. {p.s. Tim is back and good as new}

i'm a classy, classy lady... most of the time.

this photo is titled "suckas!"

Allison and Justin

I became a little obsessed with Through The ViewFinder photos so I walked around and take photos of strangers... taking photos.

Allison and her pretty mama Denise (i hope I spelled that correctly)

I've added a new occupation to my list of possibilities...

...Fried Egg... on a tricycle... in a parade.

i miss my best friend!

It hasn't even been 24 hours and I miss my MacBook already. Oh, Tim Russert, I hope you aren't too lonely in that cold dark Apple store workroom {yes, I named my laptop Tim Russert - it's dependable, knowledgeable and impartial, though i know where it's true allegiance lies}. Tim is currently out sick with a faulty touch pad, but I've been told that he will be returned to me soon. Until then here are a few photos of the precious times we've shared together this past year.
